Lang Ea

Lang Ea is a multi-media New Zealand artist whose artworks are exhibited and collected locally and internationally. She questions and explores the personal yet universal challenges of war and its traumas. Her artworks are a compilation of emotionally complex narratives, fuelled by personal experience as it interwove with the lingering resonances of historical trauma. The burden of her subconscious memory and our current unstable contemporary age combines to enhance her vision, making the works subtle, fresh and original, while offering perceptive disclosure and inviting contemplation.
