Community Anthologies
In an era when so many literary magazines are closing their doors, we’re dedicated to building more platforms for our communities’ voices. Each year, we bring on four editors-in-chief to produce their own Community Anthologies — mini issues that showcase 6-8 writers or artists, each tethered to a topic of the editor’s choosing.

Process
We provide all the necessary tools and guidance for community members to edit their own mini-issues.
Our editors-in-chief work as a cohort, supporting each other as they curate their calls for submission, edit their contributors’ pieces, and finally, publish their individual anthologies. The process is laid out in month-long segments, with group and individual check-ins, as well as communication platforms for everyone to stay in touch between meetings. By sharing our knowledge and our resources, we are empowering the next wave of editors to dream big and learn how to curate their own mini-issues without the logistical hurdles of having to start their own publication.
