Description
At which thresholds do we stand—as individuals, as bodies, as political citizens and witnesses? This session combines lecture with generative time and guidance to explore thresholds, not only as figurative motifs but as loci of power, spaces bound in the present in-definite, and essential tools of the writing craft. Building on the framework that thresholds are spaces both contested and of undetermined outcome, we will come together in this undetermined space to seek out and challenge temporal, directional, figurative, and tangible spaces of passage in literature and in the world. We will bring these thresholds home to our writing.
