Christa Lei is a queer, disabled, nonbinary Filipine-American writer, speaker, consultant, and MSW candidate. Their work explores care, chronic illness, grief, and survival through writing, peer support, and community education grounded in disability justice and transformative care. Their work has been supported by Tin House, DISQUIET and Southampton Writer’s Conference. Christa is a regular contributor to the Matador Network, and their literary work is published in Vast Chasm, Beyond Queer Words, and HerStry, amongst others.
