Chris Karnadi is an Indonesian American writer of fiction and essays. They had a column of personal essays at Catapult titled "Controller" about the intersection between video games and identity and have published reviews and criticism at Polygon, The Atlantic, Slate, The San Francisco Chronicle and elsewhere. They have been supported by Kweli Journal, the Periplus Collective, and others. They are based in Brooklyn and live with their partner and two cats.
