Darby Power

Darby Power is a hybrid-forms writer and editor from Los Angeles currently pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing and an MA in Renaissance Studies from the University of Alabama. They were a finalist for the 2024 Elizabeth Meese Prize in Creative Nonfiction and the 2024 Page Prize in Creative Nonfiction, and the recipient of the 2020 Merrill Moore Prize for Fiction. Their work has been featured in Pinch Journal Online, storytwigs, the New South Young Playwrights Festival, and elsewhere. They are the Managing Editor of Black Warrior Review, and were the 2024 co-editor of Boyfriend Village. They continue to stay silly, despite the many horrors.
