Individual donations are critical to the success and longevity of the Seventh Wave, as we are not affiliated with any university, institution, or major funder. The majority of the money we raise goes toward our scholarship fund, which helps increase accessibility to our programs while also ensuring we’re honoring the hard work of our team of editors and facilitators.

We build community through conversation.

Together with both established and emerging writers, we make literary spaces more accessible via one-time talks, reading events, accountability sessions, and launch parties that encourage conversation across disciplines and identities.

For writers looking to build a creative practice, we invite you to join our accountability sessions, which are 60-minute virtual spaces facilitated by Seventh Wave community members. There will be occasional writing prompts and shares, but the bulk of these sessions are meant for you to hold space for your own work.
